1.Who this policy covers
This policy applies to everyone who interacts with our website, our online forms, our phone and text lines, our email, and our field crews. We serve residential and commercial customers in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, and this policy applies to residents of all three states as well as anyone else who contacts us.
This policy does not apply to third party websites or platforms you may reach through our site or advertising, including search engines, social media platforms, review sites, and payment processors. Those companies have their own privacy policies.
2.Information we collect
Information you give us
- Name, phone number, email address, and mailing address
- Service address and details about the property or the item we are working on, including surface types, square footage, access notes, and gate or key codes you choose to share
- Photographs and video of the property that you send us or that we capture during an estimate or service visit
- Appointment preferences, service history, and notes from your conversations with us
- Billing information. Card and bank details are entered directly with our payment processor and are not stored on our systems
- Anything you include in a form, text message, email, review, or voicemail
Information collected automatically
- IP address, general location derived from that address, browser type, device type, and operating system
- Pages viewed, time on page, referring page, and the links you click
- Tags added to the links in our ads, which tell us which ad or search brought you to us
- Cookies, pixels, and similar technologies described in our Cookie Policy
Information from other sources
- Lead forms and messaging tools operated by Google, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), and other advertising platforms
- Third party lead services, home service marketplaces, and directory listings, where you submitted a request
- Referrals from customers, property managers, realtors, and contractors
- Publicly available property records used to prepare an accurate estimate
3.How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry and prepare and send estimates
- To schedule, perform, and follow up on the services you book
- To send appointment confirmations, arrival notices, crew updates, weather delays, invoices, and receipts
- To take payment and manage our accounts
- To send service reminders, seasonal offers, and promotions, where you have agreed to receive them
- To request a review or feedback after a completed job
- To document property condition before and after work, which protects both you and us if a question comes up later
- To improve our website, our advertising, and our service quality
- To meet legal, tax, insurance, licensing, and safety obligations
- To establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
4.Text messaging and mobile data
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the sharing categories described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. That information will not be shared with any third party.
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, we use it to send the messages described in the Text Messaging section of our Terms and Conditions. Your consent to receive texts is never a condition of purchase.
We may share your mobile number with the messaging and telecom vendors that deliver our texts on our behalf. Those vendors act only on our instructions and cannot use your number for their own marketing.
You can stop marketing texts at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance. We may still send you texts that relate directly to a job you have booked, such as arrival windows and safety notices, unless you ask us to stop those as well.
5.Phone calls and recording
We may record or monitor phone calls with us for quality, training, scheduling accuracy, and dispute resolution. Some of our calls are answered or placed by an automated assistant.
Because we take calls from New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, and because Pennsylvania requires the consent of every party to a recorded call, we announce recording at the start of the call. If you do not want to be recorded, tell us and we will stop the recording, or you can contact us by email or through the form on our website instead.
6.Cookies and tracking
We use cookies, pixels, and similar tools on our website for basic site function, analytics, and advertising. This includes Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking, and the Meta Pixel. Full detail and your choices are in our Cookie Policy.

Every category above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent, as stated in Section 4.
8.We do not sell your information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We do share limited online identifiers with advertising platforms as described above, which some state privacy laws define as a sale or as targeted advertising. You can opt out of that sharing using the controls in our Cookie Policy or by contacting us.
9.How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as necessary to provide services, maintain job and property condition records, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and satisfy legal, tax, insurance, and licensing requirements. Retention periods vary by record type. Job photographs and service records are often kept for the life of the customer relationship and for a period afterward, because they are the primary evidence of property condition at the time of service.
10.How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including access controls, encrypted transmission on our website, and vendor agreements that limit how our providers may use your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11.Your privacy rights
Regardless of where you live, you may ask us to:
- Confirm whether we hold information about you and give you a copy
- Correct information that is inaccurate
- Delete information, subject to records we must keep by law or for legal claims
- Provide a portable copy in a usable format
- Stop targeted advertising based on your activity
- Stop marketing emails, calls, and texts
To make a request, use the contact details in Section 17. We will verify your identity before acting, usually by confirming details already on file. We respond within 45 days and may extend that once by another 45 days where the request is complex, in which case we will tell you.
You may use an authorized agent. We may ask for proof of their authority.
You can opt out of advertising-related tracking using the controls described in our Cookie Policy, or by contacting us directly and asking us to stop.
12.New Jersey residents
The New Jersey Data Privacy Act gives New Jersey residents the rights listed in Section 11, including the right to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and profiling used to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Appeals. If we decline your request, you may appeal by writing to us at powerwashing@clearchoicext.com with "Privacy Appeal" in the subject line. We will respond in writing within 45 days with our decision and the reasons for it. If we deny the appeal, you may submit a complaint to the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs.
We do not knowingly process sensitive data without consent. If you tell us about a health condition, disability, or accessibility need so we can perform the work safely, we use it only for that purpose.
13.New York and Pennsylvania residents
New York and Pennsylvania do not currently have a comprehensive consumer privacy statute of the kind described in Section 12. We extend the rights in Section 11 to residents of those states as a matter of practice. New York residents also have protections under state law regarding data security and breach notification, and we follow those requirements.
14.Children's privacy
Our services and website are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us and we will delete it. You must be 18 or older to book services or to consent to receive text messages from us.
15.Third party links
Our website and messages may link to other sites, including review platforms, mapping services, and payment pages. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
16.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The current version is always posted on this page with the date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted on our website. Continuing to use our website or services after a change means you accept the updated policy.
